Bookings Open For The Upcoming TVS Apache RTR 310, Launch On Sept 6

TVS Motor Company has recently launched an all-new performance-oriented electric scooter, the X. And soon after its launch, the two-wheeler manufacturer has shifted its focus to its next product, which is expected to be the Apache RTR 310, which will be launched on September 6, 2023. However, its pre-launch bookings have now been commenced at an initial amount of Rs 3,100.

TVS has announced that the early-bird customers will not only be given priority during delivery, but some of them could also stand a chance to attend the launch event in Thailand.

Upcoming TVS Apache RTR 310 – What To Expect?

• Going by the latest teaser, the upcoming TVS Apache will feature a very aggressive and sharp design with a Ducati Streetfighter V4-like front facia featuring an angular twin LED headlight.
• The teaser also shows us a glimpse of the bike’s spoked alloy wheels, golden-finished front USD forks, exposed trellis frame, aluminium swingarm, lever guards, split seat setup, rear-set footpegs, and side-slung tailpipe, all elevating our expectations from the bike.
• Expect the bike to also get features like an all LED lighting system, dual-clutch Antilock Braking System (ABS), traction control, electric throttle Ride by Wire technology, adjustable brake & clutch levers, slipper clutch, a coloured TFT display with Bluetooth-based smartphone connectivity, multiple riding modes, and USB mobile charging socket.
• At the heart of the upcoming TVS naked streetfighter is expected to be the same 313cc, single-cylinder, reverse-inclined, liquid-cooled motor that also powers the Apache RR 310 supersport. This engine is good enought in producing 34PS of max power and 28Nm of peak torque.
• Expect it to get a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch that minimizes the chances of rear wheel lockup and enahnce rider’s confidence.

Expected Price and Competitors

We expect TVS to price the new Apache RTR 310 from around Rs 2.45-2.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will go up against the Triumph Speed 400, Honda CB300R, KTM 390 Duke, Keeway K300N and of course, its BMW sibling, the G 310 R.
