BMW X7 Signature Edition Launched At Rs 1.33 Crore

BMW India has launched the limited-run X7 Signature Edition in India at Rs 1.33 crore (ex-showroom). The special edition version is available in the sole M Sport XDrive40i petrol version.

BMW has introduced the new Signature Edition of its X7 SUV with some premium updates. On the exterior, the car features BMW’s signature crystal headlamps with Swarovski glass-cut crystals, creating a unique light display. The X7 Signature Edition also offers exclusive paint options for added customization.

Inside, the cabin retains the luxurious package of the standard X7, which includes a curved main display, a driver-centric cockpit, and an extended ambient light bar that stretches from the centre console to the passenger side.

In this edition, BMW is also offering an Ambient Air package, featuring over 15,000 individual light points that can be customized through the ambient light settings. Adding to the premium feel, the X7 Signature Edition has crystal door pins, enhancing the interior’s overall aesthetic.

Under the hood, the Signature Edition retains the same 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 381bhp and 520Nm of torque between 1,800rpm and 5,000rpm. This powerful engine allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. Additionally, the engine is supported by a 48V electric motor, providing an extra boost of 12bhp and 200Nm of torque for better efficiency and performance.

The SUV offers four distinct driving modes: Comfort, Efficient, Sport, and Sport Plus, allowing drivers to tailor the vehicle’s performance to their preferences and road conditions. The Comfort mode is designed for a smooth and relaxed driving experience, ideal for daily commutes or long journeys. The Efficient mode prioritizes fuel economy, optimizing the SUV’s performance for maximum efficiency. For those seeking a more dynamic drive, the Sport mode enhances throttle response and sharpens the steering, delivering a more engaging driving experience. Finally, the Sport Plus mode takes things up a notch, providing a heightened level of performance with more aggressive handling and throttle control, perfect for spirited driving or track days.

Additionally, the SUV is equipped with an adaptive air suspension system, which automatically adjusts the vehicle’s ride height and dampers based on the selected driving mode. This ensures not only improved comfort on uneven roads but also enhanced stability and control during high-speed driving. The air suspension also allows the SUV to lower itself for easier entry and exit or raise the height for better ground clearance when tackling rough terrain.
