BMW X5 xDrive SportX Plus Launched In India, Price Start From Rs 77.90 Lakh

BMW has launched the X5 xDrive SportX Plus models in India at a starting price of Rs 77.90 lakh for the xDrive40i petrol variant and Rs 79.50 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom) for the xDrive30d diesel trim.

Its unmistakable BMW X genes, commanding road presence, and robust proportions are bound to turn heads on every road.

BMW X5 xDrive SportX Plus – Design & Features

The powerful & premium Sports Activity version of the X5 flaunts muscular dynamics and a dominant road presence. It features an impressive single-piece hexagonal kidney grille on the front paired with Laserlight LED headlights and a sculptured bonnet, while the rear features wrap-around 3-D tail lights. Complementing the overall profile are the stretched lines, angular cuts, and strong detailings of the SUV that further strengthen its overall appearance.

BMW X5 xDrive SportX Plus features

The features packed cabin of the BMW X5 SportX Plus comes with a high-quality Sensatec upholstery with black and Canberra Beige combination, fine-wood trim ash grain brown-metallic high-gloss, sports seats with electric adjustment, BMW door sills, ambient lighting with dynamic interior light & welcome light carpet, 4-zone automatic climate control, memory function for the driver seat, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 3D navigation, BMW gesture control, auto tailgate, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable roller sunblinds, adaptive suspensions, cruise control with braking function, Automatic Differential Brakes / Locks (ADB-X), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), hill start assist, and hill descent assist, etc. 

The new X5 SportX Plus SUV will be available in three metallic color options – Mineral White, Phytonic Blue, and Black Sapphire.

BMW X5 xDrive SportX Plus – Powertrain

The BMW X5 xDrive SportX Plus comes with TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter 6-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, paired with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission that drives all four wheels via an all-wheel-drive system. While the former engine generates a maximum power output of 335PS from 5,500 to 6,500rpm and a peak torque of 450Nm from 1,500-5,200rpm, the latter delivers 261PS at 4,000rpm and 620Nm of torque at 1,500-2,500rpm. 

On the performance front, the diesel iteration of the SAV can hit the century sprint in 5.5 seconds before attaining a top speed of 243kmph. If we talk about its petrol version, the top speed is rated at 230kmph, while the 0-100kmph sprint time is 6.5 seconds.
