Bajaj Auto has recently filed a trademark application for the “Fighter” and “Bruzer” names. The road ahead is buzzing with speculation, and there are rumours that these monikers might be used for their forthcoming CNG bikes. For those unaware, Bajaj is planning to introduce multiple CNG bikes in the country, and one of these eco-warriors is poised to make its grand entrance on June 18.
According to a leaked patent image, the upcoming Bajaj CNG bike will actually be a bi-fueled vehicle equipped with a small petrol tank and a CNG tank placed between the upper braces of the frame. Although it won’t feature a direct CNG start function, the bike is reported to offer an impressive range of approximately 100 kilometres on compressed natural gas.

We anticipate that the first Bajaj CNG bike will have an engine capacity between 100 and 125cc. Expect it to be priced around Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom) and come equipped with features like an LED lighting system, digital cluster, front disc brake and single-channel ABS. Upon arrival, it will bridge the gap between petrol and electric motorcycles by providing both eco-friendliness and lower running costs.
In other news, Bajaj is also expected to launch one new Chetak every year. A new variant of the Chetak will be introduced next month, while the next-gen model will be introduced in 2025.
