With other Bajaj motorbikes like Dominar 400, Pulsar NS200, Pulsar 220F, RS200 and the 150 Classic already being updated, the Pulsar 125 was bound to receive this update.

Updating the bike on new emission norms has significantly increased its pricing. Its Drum variant has witnessed the rise of Rs. 6300, which will mean that it costs Rs. 69,997. The Disc variant has received a hike of Rs. 7500. Its new price is now Rs. 74,118 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Mechanical changes
Bajaj Pulsar 125 continues to be powered by the same 124cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine unit. At 11Nm, its peak torque figure has remained the same, but its power output has witnessed a negligible decline (0.2 bHP) over its predecessor, the BS-4 version. The power output now stands at 11.8 HP. The transmission also remains the same. A 5-speed gearbox will continue to transmit the power.
The only mechanical change is a welcome move, as the engine unit now gets a fuel injection (FI) system, replacing the conventional carburettor setup.
