Bajaj CT110X Launched At Rs 55,495
Bajaj Auto has launched a new rugged version of its CT110 commuter motorcycle called "CT110X" at Rs 55,459 (ex-showroom Delhi). Compared to the standard ES variant (Rs 53,498), it is approximately Rs 2,000 more expensive. For this extra premium, it offers some additional features and cosmetic changes over the standard variant that is intended to make it more sturdy and tough. In fact, the brand claims that the CT110X has been designed to cater to the challenging riding conditions. It is essentially targeted at buyers who frequently ply on poor roads.
To start with, the Bajaj CT110X gets thicker crash guards and molded footholds for added safety & comfort, semi-knobby tires for a strong grip, raised front fender for tackling muddy terrain, and a rear carrier with a payload capacity of 7kg. Further, the brand has also offered a dual-textured seat with a dual-stitched finish, integrated tank pads, a new headlamp, and fork gaiters to give it a tough appearance. Interestingly, the brand has also increased its wheelbase by 50mm (1285mm) when compared to the standard trim, which will offer more riding stability.
Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged. It also employs the same 115cc DTS-i engine as the regular model that churns out 8.6PS of max power at 7500rpm, and a peak torque of 9.81Nm at 5000rpm.
