  • Deliveries will commence from May 2026.
  • Two variants: Sharp and Savvy.
  • Gets a 2-litre twin-turbo diesel mill, with an 8-speed automatic.

MG Motor has finally unveiled the Majestor SUV for the Indian market. Its bookings are open, with deliveries scheduled to begin from May 2026. This Toyota Fortuner-rivalling full-size, ladder-frame SUV will serve as the brand’s flagship ICE offering, replacing the Gloster in its Indian portfolio.

MG Majestor Design – Imposing Road Presence

Measuring over 5 meters in length, the MG Majestor is essentially a rebadged version of the Maxus D90 sold internationally. It boasts a rugged and dominating design, which gives it a strong road presence.

MG Majestor specs and dimensions

Starting from the front, the SUV boasts a huge rectangular grille with gloss black & chrome elements, flanked by sleek eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs positioned higher up, while the main projector headlamps sit below in a vertically stacked three-pod enclosure. Further enhancing its go-anywhere appearance are the rugged-looking black cladding with a silver skid plate in the centre of the bumper featuring vertical slots.

Riding on 19-inch dual-tone alloys, the SUV flaunts a typical boxy silhouette, with pronounced wheel arches and character lines that instantly add to its road presence.

At the rear, the connected LED tail lamps, a chunky bumper with dual-exhaust tips and prominent “MORRIS GARAGES” and “MAJESTOR” lettering round off its tough and imposing look. Overall, the Majestor looks more aggressive and commanding than the MG Gloster.

Dimensions

Against the measuring tape, it is 5046mm long (2950mm wheelbase), 1876mm tall and 2016mm wide. This makes it 251mm longer than the Toyota Fortuner.

Speaking of the boot, it is limited to 343 litres with the 3rd-row in use, which can further increase to 1,350 litres with the 3rd-row seats folded down.
