Mahindra, the pronounced SUV maker, had a successful 2025 with the introduction of XUV 3XO RevX series, facelifted Bolero and Bolero Neo, and some special editions of the BE 6. Approaching 2026, Mahindra is poised to continue this story, with two confirmed launches planned in early 2026, including the XUV 7XO (XUV700 Facelift) and Scorpio N facelift.
XUV 7XO (XUV700 Facelift)
The first-generation of the XUV700 was introduced in 2021 and now it is set to receive a facelift update, which will called XUV 7XO. While its bookings are now underway for a token amount of Rs 21,000, prices will be revealed on January 5, 2025.
Based on the teasers, the XUV 7XO is expected to undergo subtle design changes and a new set of features, like new front grille with updated lighting setup, new aero-optimised and revised taillights. It is also expected to receive a triple screen setup, BOSS mode for co-passenger seat and ventilated rear seats. Engine options are likely to remain the same, along with 6- or 7-seat configuration.

Scorpio N Facelift
The Scorpio N is also expected to receive a mid-life facelift update probably in the first quater of 2026. The test mule of the SUV suggested revisions to the lighting elements, exterior trim and alloy wheel design. Inside, it is expected to get the larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system from the Thar Roxx, along with a few additional comfort features like memory seat for the driver, updated sound system and panoramic sunroof.
The 2-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines are likely to continue, with the latter retaining the options of a 4×4 drivetrain, retaining the Scorpio-N’s appeal among off-road and adventure-focused buyers.
This update should help the Scorpio-N stay competitive in an increasingly crowded SUV segment.
