Special Editions Launched: Hero Splendor Plus, Passion Plus, and Vida VX2

Hero MotoCorp has launched special edition variants of the Splendor Plus, Passion Plus and Vida VX2 to mark the milestone of serving 125 million customers. The new special editions feature exclusive liveries, with distinctive special edition graphics for the Passion Plus and Splendor Plus, while the Vida VX2 receives unique special badging on its apron.

Hero Splendor Plus

Hero Splendor+ 125 million edition

The Hero Splendor Plus 125 Million Special Edition gets a glossy grey paint scheme known as the “Industrial Dark Grey”, with 3D Hero and Splendor+ badges finished in gold, lending it a distinctive look. It also gets gold & black-coloured graphics with ‘Special Edition’ stickers on the tail panels and matte black alloy wheels featuring gold coloured tape, complementing the bike’s overall colour theme.

Hero has priced the Splendor+ 125 Million Special Edition at Rs 76,437 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Hero Passion Pro

Priced at Rs 78,074 (ex-showroom), the special edition variant of the Hero Passion Pro also gets a similar kind of treatment as the Splendor Plus, featuring an Industrial Dark Grey shade with golden treatment.

Vida VX2

Unlike the Splendor+ and Passion, the Vida VX2 Special Edition doesn’t get any new colour but features a “125M” badge on the apron to mark the milestone. The exact pricing of this special edition is still under wraps.

Our Take

Hero MotoCorp’s launch of the “125M” Special Edition two-wheelers comes at an opportune time, aligning perfectly with the festive season when demand for new bikes spikes. Coupled with the recent GST 2.0-related price cuts, this move strengthens Hero’s position in the highly competitive 100–125cc segment by offering both novelty and affordability. However, while the Splendor+ and Passion editions bring fresh colour schemes and graphics to attract attention, the Vida VX2 Special Edition relies solely on a badge update — a minimal change that may not create the same buzz. The effectiveness of this approach will depend on whether customers see enough value in these modest updates to choose Hero over rival brands during this high-demand period.
