2025 Tata Nexon EV Gets ADAS and Dark Edition

Tata Motors has upgraded the Nexon EV 45 with a new top-spec Empowered Plus A variant priced at Rs 17.29 lakh (ex-showroom). This new trim comes with a host of new features, including ADAS. In addition, DARK and Red Dark Edition variants based on this trim have also been introduced.

Tata Nexon EV 45 Now with ADAS

As mentioned above, the Nexon EV gets a new top-of-the-line Empowered Plus A variant, which comes equipped with a level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This advanced active safety suite comprises features like Traffic Sign Recognition [TSR], Lane Centering System [LCS], Lane Departure Warning [LDW], Lane Keep Assist [LKA], Forward Collision Warning [FCW] (Pedestrian / Cyclist / Car), Autonomous Emergency Braking [AEB] (Pedestrian / Cyclist / Car), and High Beam Assist [HBA].

In addition to ADAS, the new Nexon EV 45 Empowered Plus A trim also gets rear window sunshades and ambient lighting for added convenience and modern look.

Dark and Red Dark Editions

Alongside this update, Tata has also rolled out the popular #Dark Edition for the sub-4m EV, similar to its ICE counterpart. This version features an all-black treatment inside and out. The Red Dark Edition continues to be on sale as well, offering the same ADAS package and additional features as this new variant.

Other Features Onboard

Other features onboard the Nexon EV 45 Empowered Plus A include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car tech, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, auto AC, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brakes with auto-hold, multiple-driving modes, multi-regen braking, six airbags, and much more.

Tata Nexon EV: Powertrain Options

The Tata Nexon EV comes with two battery pack options: 30 kWh and 45 kWH. However, the Empowered Plus A trim is only available with the 45 kWh battery unit.
