2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: 10 Features You Won’t Find On Maruti Baleno

Tata Motors has recently unveiled the Altroz facelift with a fresh look and new features. It will go on sale on May 22. It is a natural competitor to the segment-leader Maruti Baleno. However, it has an edge over the Maruti offering in terms of amenities. Here are 10 such features that you won’t find in the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

Flush-fitting Door Handles

The Tata Altroz facelift is the only offering in the segment to feature flush-fitting door handles. This upmarket feature not only adds to its aesthetics, but also give the car a premium touch. It will also help in minimising drag by keeping the body surface smooth.

Connected Tail Lamps

With the facelift update, the Altroz now gets a connected LED tail lamp setup that enhances the overall design and visual appeal of the car.

Electric Sunroof

Another feel-good feature that gives the Altroz an edge over the Baleno is the single-pane electric sunroof. This adds an airy, upmarket feel to the cabin and adds a sense of space and natural light, something the Baleno miss out on.

Digital Driver’s Display

The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift offers a new 10.25-inch digital driver’s display in the top-spec trim. What makes it even better is that the navigation feeds will also be displayed on this screen itself. In contrast, the Baleno gets a traditional analogue instrument cluster with a coloured MID. However, the Baleno comes with a segment-first heads-up display (HUD).

Blind-Spot Monitor

Tata has announced that the new Altroz will also get a 360-degree camera with a blind-spot monitoring system. While the Baleno also features a 360-degree surround view system, it lacks a blind-spot monitor.

Air Purifier

The top-spec Accomplished+ S variant of the Altroz also features an in-built air purifier system, which can be a very helpful addition if you live in highly polluted cities.

Ambient Lighting and Illuminated Steering Wheel

The Altroz facelift boasts white colour ambient lighting and an illuminated steering wheel to create a more premium and inviting atmosphere.

Wireless Charger

The Tata Altroz gets a wireless smartphone charger, a much sought-after feature these days, which helps reduce cable clutter in the cabin. This feature is available from the Accomplished S variant onwards.

Six Airbags As Standard

The Altroz comes with 6 airbags standard across all its variants, whereas the Baleno only gets six airbags in its higher variant. However, Maruti is making six airbags as standard fitment, and we expect the Baleno to soon receive this update, along with several other additions in the coming days.
