Kia Syros Made Its Global Debut, Launch In Jan 2025

Kia India has finally unveiled the much-anticipated Syros SUV, positioned between the Sonet and Seltos in the brand’s current product lineup. Its bookings will commence on Jan 3 followed by deliveries in February 2025.

Kia Syros: Design and Dimensions

Kia Syros launch date

The all-new Kia Syros features the brand’s new design philosophy introduced with the EV9 SUV. Upfront, it features a commanding presence with the Carnival-like vertically oriented 3-pod LED headlamps and Kia moniker placed on the bonnet nose.

It boasts a boxy silhouette, complemented by flush-type door handles and body-coloured B-pillars, adding a modern touch. Furthermore, the silver body cladding, large window sections and flat roof with roof rails give it a rugged appeal. All this reminds us of the Skoda Yeti, while also maximising cabin space and ensuring high practicality. The design of its 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels is reminiscent of the EV9.

At the rear, the Syros sports sleek L-shaped LED headlamps near the rear window and a chunkier bumper with a silver faux skid plate.

Kia Syros boot

Against the measuring tape, the Syros the Kia Syros stands at 3995mm in length, 1800mm in width, and 1665mm in height. Its wheelbase is rated at 2550mm, while the boot space measures 465 litres. Compared to the Kia Sonet, it is 10mm wider and 55mm tall. The Syros also offers 73 litres more boot space than the Sonet. Surprisingly, it features the segment’s first adjustable boot, thanks to the sliding function in the 2nd row.
