Ola S1 Z Launched With Portable Battery At Rs 59,999

Amid rising customer complaints, Ola Electric has expanded its electric scooter lineup with the all-new S1 Z. Priced from Rs 59,999, the S1 Z features a removable battery. It will be offered in two variants: S1 Z and S1 Z+. The latter will cost you Rs 64,999. This makes it Ola’s most affordable electric scooter in the country. The brand has also taken this opportunity to introduce its first electric scooter for the B2B segment, called the Gig.

Ola S1 Z – Battery, Specs and Range

  • Powering the Ola S1 Z is a 1.5kWh portable battery that claims a range of 75 km on a single charger. There’s also an option to add a second battery which increases the range to 146 kilometers.
  • For propulsion, it uses a hub-motor which offers a peak power output of 3kW, enabling the scooter to the 0 to 40 kmph sprint in just 4.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 70 kmph.
  • Aside from the above information, no technical specifications have been revealed yet.

Design and Features

The Ola S1 Z boasts a new, boxy design language, with the range-topping Z+ variant featuring accessories like a small visor, front & rear luggage rack, and a pillion sidestep/ The scooter rides on 14-inch wheels, a rarity in the e-scooter segment. It also features an LCD rider’s display that can be paired with your smartphone via Bluetooth for added Convenience.

Ola S1 Z price

Ola also offers a wide range of accessories tailored to meet everyday needs, allowing customers to personalise and adapt the scooter to their lifestyle. These accessories are designed to enhance the overall functionality and convenience of the scooter, making it suitable for various uses.

Bookings and Deliveries

Interested customers can now book the Ola S1 Z online for a token amount of Rs 500. Its deliveries are slated to commence from April 2025.
