Skoda Kylaq: 7 Features That Outshine the Maruti Brezza

Skoda has recently unveiled its upcoming sub-4m SUV, the Kylaq, which starts from Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, it is quite affordable than the segment leader Maruti Brezza. Not only it is more affordable, but also offers a number of additional features over the Suzuki offering. In this story, look at the seven features that the Skoda Kylaq gets over the Maruti Suzuki Brezza.

1. Ventilated Front Seats

The front seats in the upcoming Skoda Kylaq benefit from the ventilation function, which is missing in the Brezza. This feature is quite useful, especially in hot & humid conditions, providing additional comfort.

    2. Powered Front Seats

Along with the ventilation function, the front seats are electrically adjustable in the Kylaq, whereas the Brezza gets a manual adjustment function for the driver seat only.

    3. Fully Digital Cluster

Unlike Brezza’s aged analogue dials, the Kylaq gets an 8-inch digital driver’s unit, which not only contributes to a more modern and premium look but also shows clearer and more precise information.

    4. Bigger Infotainment

    Skoda Kylaq vs Brezza

While both models come with floating infotainment, the Kylaq gets a slightly bigger 10-inch infotainment system. On the other hand, the Brezza comes with a 9-inch unit. Both get connected car technology and wireless connectivity for the Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

    5. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

The Skoda Kylaq comes with a tyre pressure monitoring system, which is an essential safety feature that alerts the driver when tyre pressure drops to a low level, providing added convenience and safety.

    6. Concerning Headlamps

The Kylaq features cornering headlamps which illuminate the area where the vehicle is turning. This helps drivers see obstacles or pedestrians around corners, especially at night. The Brezza, on the other hand, boasts regular LED projector headlamps and LED fog lamps.

    7. Standard Six Airbags

While Skoda offers six airbags from the base variant, the Brezza only gets six airbags in the range-topping ZXi+ trim.
