- Fuel Efficiency: The Dzire sets a benchmark with its segment-best fuel efficiency, making it the most economical choice among compact sedans. With generous legroom, foot room and knee room for both front & rear passengers, it can easily accommodate four adults. The rear seats are comfy and supportive and provide decent underthigh support. However, the headroom is a bit tight for taller passengers.

Things That Could Have Been Better (Cons)
- NVH Levels: The 1.2-litre Z12E 3-cylinder petrol engine of the new Maruti Dzire has some vibrations at low rpms. The engine is also quite noisy and gets strained when pushing hard.
- Missing Features – While the new Dzire gets a few class-leading additions, features like a front armrest, digital driver’s display, ambient lighting and auto-dimming IRVM would have made it a more wholesome offering.
- A Miss For Enthusiasts: – The Dzire’s new 3-cylinder engine is good for daily commutes, but it lacks the punch to excite driving enthusiasts. There’s also a noticeable drop in power when compared to the outgoing K12B 4-cylinder engine. However, the power builds up smoothly and linearly.
- Letdown for Taller Passengers: The rear seat of the 2024 Maruti Dzire offers limited comfort for taller passengers, with mediocre under-thigh support and restricted headroom. Those who enjoy taking naps on extended drives might find themselves bumping their heads on bad roads, making the overall experience less enjoyable.

Maruti Suzuki has undoubtedly made commendable efforts with the new Dzire, making it a more mature and desirable offering than before. It looks premium, rides pleasingly, and is well-equipped too.
