Tata Curvv and Curvv.ev Breaks Cover; Launch Soon

Tata Motors has finally revealed the production-spec exterior design of the highly anticipated Tata Curvv and its electric counterpart, the Curvv.ev. The EV will be launched on August 7, while the ICE version will be launched later this year.

Tata Curvv Design

The Curvv is the first mass-market SUV coupe from Tata Motors that takes its design inspiration from the Nexon and Harrier. Like the newest Tata models, it features connected LED DRLs upfront and a projector LED headlamp setup situated lower on the bumper. The ICE-powered Curvv boasts an all-black grille with silver highlights, while the electric version features a body-coloured closed-off panel.

In profile, the Curvv will remind you of the BMW X4 with the main highlight being the flush-type door handles, a first for a Tata car. Other notable bits include petal alloys for the ICE version, aerodynamically shaped alloys for EVs, heavy cladding all around, and sleek LED-connected taillights at the rear.

Tata Curvv Interior

Tata is yet to reveal the interior design of the Curvv. However, going by the spy shots, it will be largely similar to the Nexon, with elements like 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment, a digital driver’s display, and a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. It is also expected to get features like dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, JBL sound system, ventilated front seats, multiple driving modes, electronic parking brakes with auto-hold, wireless charger, 360-degree camera with blind-spot monitoring, and ADAS suite.

As reported earlier, the ICE-powered Tata Curvv is likely to come with the brand’s new 1.2-litre TGDi petrol and the Nexon’s 1.5-litre diesel engine. On the other hand, the Cuvv.ev is anticipated to be offered with two battery packs, with a drive range of over 500 kilometers.
