Jeep Meridian X Re-Launched Again At Rs 34.27 Lakh

Jeep India has relaunched the special edition Meridian X at Rs 34.27 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 50,000 costlier than the Limited (O) variant. The limited-run SUV gets some styling upgrades as well as some additional features.

Jeep Meridian X – What’s Special?

The Jeep Meridian X maintains the original design of the SUV, with only a few cosmetic changes such as side steps and white underbody lighting. It also features a grey roof, alloy wheels with grey pockets, and side mouldings. The other notable additions over the standard model include programmable ambient lighting, puddle lamps, an air purifier, premium carpet mats, an optional rear-seat entertainment package and a dashcam. Other than that, it is identical to the Limited (O) trim.

Powertrain

Powering the Meridian X is a 2-litre turbocharged diesel engine that makes 170PS of max power and 350Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Competitors

Jeep currently retails the Meridian SUV between Rs 33.77 lakh and Rs 39.83 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it against the MG Gloster, Toyota Fortuner and the petrol-only Skoda Kodiaq.
