Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition Launched In India

Suzuki celebrates 25 years of the iconic Hayabusa with the launch of the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition in India, priced at Rs 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, it is Rs 80,000 more expensive than the regular model.

As mentioned above, the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition marks the iconic legacy of the legendary Hayabusa. It boasts a host of cosmetic enhancements over its regular version.

  • The Special Edition model boasts a distinctive colour scheme called Glass Blaze Orange and Glass Sparkle Black, along with a Gold Anodized accent on the drive chain adjuster and front disc inner part.
  • The exhaust muffler showcases a special 25th-anniversary logo engraving, while the drive chain is adorned with a Hayabusa Kanji logo.
  • The motorcycle also features a 25th-anniversary emblem and 3D embossed Suzuki badging on the fuel tank’s sides.
  • It also gets special V-shaped decals on the fairings and the tail section. There’s also a matching seat cowl as standard.

Are There Any Mechanical Changes?

  • The changes are only aesthetic, and the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition remains mechanically unchanged.
  • It continues to be powered by the same 1340cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled, in-line 4-cylinder engine that produces 190PS of max power and 150Nm of peak torque.
  • It is paired with a 6-speed transmission and a slip-and-assist clutch.
  • The superbike also features a Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS), which comprises features like lean-sensitive traction control and a bidirectional quick-shifter.
  • Other notable features of Hayabusa include a TFT instrumentation cluster, three-level engine brake control, a 6-axis IMU, 10-level wheelie control, three riding modes, and three user-defined modes.
