TVS hasn’t made any changes to the Apache RTR 160. It retains the ongoing 159.7cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that makes a maximum power putout of 17.55PS at 9250rpm, along with a peak torque of 14.73Nm at 7250rpm. Further enhancing its overall performance are the three riding modes: Sport, Urban and Rain. The latter two limit the overall engine performance to suit the riding conditions.

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V features

The other notable features of the bike include an LED headlamp, an LED taillamp, a fully digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation assist, and TVS’s Glide-Through Technology (GTT). The latter allows the rider to move slowly through traffic or tight spaces with ease by providing a smooth & steady pace without requiring frequent acceleration inputs.

Rivalling the Apache RTR 160 4V are the Bajaj Pulsar N160, Hero Xtreme 160R, Yamaha FZS-FI 4V and Suzuki Gixxer 160 in the Indian market.
