Bajaj Pulsar N160 Single-Channel ABS Discontinued

Bajaj Auto has discontinued the Single-Channel ABS variant of the Pulsar N160 due to poor demand. Now, it is only available in the dual-channel ABS version, priced at Rs 1,30,560 (ex-showroom).

The Bajaj Pulsar N160 was launched in June last year in two variants, single-channel ABS and dual-channel ABS. Interestingly, the price difference between both variants was only about Rs 5,000, leading most buyers to opt for the dual-channel version.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 Dual-channel ABS

Powering the Bajaj Pulsar N160 is a 164.8cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, oil-cooled engine that belts out 16PS and 14.65Nm. It is built on the same platform as the Pulsar N250 and F250. In contrast to the single-channel version’s 31mm unit, the dual-channel ABS trim gets a 37mm telescopic fork upfront coupled with a Nitrox monoshock at the rear. For braking, it gets 300mm front and 230mm rear discs.

The bike rides on 17-inch alloys shod with a 100-section tire at the front and a 130-section tire at the rear.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 features

Regarding features, the Pulsar N160 gets a bi-functional projector headlamp with LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), an LED tail lamp, a USB mobile charging port, and a semi-digital instrument cluster with a classic analogue tachometer, distance-to-empty readout, and gear indicator.

In the sub 160cc segment, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 takes on the likes of Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, Yamaha FZ-S Fi V3.0, Suzuki Gixxer, and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
