TVS Ronin TD Special Edition Launched At Rs 1.73 Lakh

TVS Motor Company has launched a special edition variant of its 225cc, neo-metro-styled motorcycle, the Ronin. Called the TVS Ronin TD, this new special edition variant is priced at Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom) and features cosmetic enhancements over the standard model.

TVS Ronin TD Special Edition – What’s New?

Based on the standard model’s top-spec TD variant, this new special edition trim demands a premium of Rs 4,000 over the regular model. For these added bucks, it gets a refreshed triple-tone colour scheme with a primary grey hue combined with a secondary white tone, accented by a striking red stipe.

The special edition trim also features “Ronin” branding on the wheel rims, an all-black theme on the lower part of the motorcycle, which extends to the headlamp bezel. In addition, the bike also packs some pre-fitted accessories, like tined visor, a USB charger, and a uniquely designed EFI cover.

The rest of the bike remain unchanged. It continue to get features like automatic LED headlamp with T-shaped integrated LED DRL, USD front fork, 7-step preload adjustable monoshock, two riding modes (Rain and Urban), Glide Through Technology (GTT), slipper clutch, adjustable brake & clutch levers, dual-channel Antilock Braking System, hazard lamp, digital instrument cluster with side stand indicator, gearshift assist, distance to empty meter, and Bluetooth-based TVS SmartXonnect tech with voice assist, turn-by-turn navigation support, incoming call alert, custom window notification, and ride analysis function.

Powertrain

The TVS Ronin sources its power from a 225.9cc, air-oil-cooled, single-cylinder, engine that produces 20PS of peak power, along with a max twist of 19.93Nm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox, with an assist & slipper clutch. The bike has a top speed of 120 kmph.

Rivals

The TVS Ronin can be seen as an closest alternative to the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
