Deliveries Commenced For Gen 2 Ola S1 Pro

Ola Electric has finally commenced deliveries for the second-generation (Gen 2) iteration of the S1 Pro electric scooter. Currently, it is priced at Rs 1,47,499 (ex-showroom).

  • For those who arenโ€™t aware, the Gen 2 Ola S1 Pro features redesigned battery packs, slightly updated styling, and a new powertrain.
  • The biggest change comes in the form of a flat floorboard, a telescopic fork at the front and a vertically oriented monoshock at the rear, as well as a traditional steel box section swingarm.
  • Powering the Gen 2 S1 Pro is a 4.0kWh battery pack, which is lighter than before and claims an increased range of 195km on a single charge.

  • The peak power output of the scooter has also been increased by 30%, now rated at 11kW from the earlier 8.5kW. However, the nominal power has been reduced from earlier 5.5kW to 5kW.
  • Speaking of the performance, the Gen 2 Ola S1 Pro electric scooter now claims a top speed of 120 kmph from the earlier 116 kmph.   • Ola offers the new S1 Pro in five colour options: Jet Black, Midnight Blue, Matt White, Amethyst and Stellar.
  • In the EV segment, the Gen 2 Ola S1 Pro locks horns with scooters like Ather 450S, Simple One, and TVS iQube.

In other news, Ola Electric has recently started demonstrating a demo version of the MoveOS 4 at their experience centres. The brand is expected to roll out the beta version of this new software update soon.
