2023 Tata Harrier and Safari Mileage Figures Revealed

The facelifted Tata Harrier and Safari were recently unveiled with a refreshed design and new features. They retain the same Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which continues to produce 170PS and 350Nm, identical to their predecessors. However, their fuel efficiency (mileage) figures have improved slightly. Let’s take a look at them: –

2023 Tata Harrier and Safari Facelift Mileage Figures
  • Both the Harrier and Safari continue to get 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission options.
  • With the recent updates, both SUVs have become marginally more frugal by up to 0.45 kmpl.
  • Speaking of their rivals, the MG Hector and Hector Plus offer a claimed mileage of 15.58 kmpl for the diesel manual, which is slightly less than what these Tata SUVs offer. On the other hand, the Hyundai Alcazar diesel manual claims 18.1 kmpl, while its automatic version offers an impressive 20.4 kmpl, which is the highest among all.
