Nissan Magnite AMT Launched At Rs 6.50 Lakh

Soon after introducing the Magnite Kuro Edition, Nissan India launched this sub-4m SUV with an AMT transmission option at a starting price of Rs 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the cheapest automatic SUV in its class. Its bookings are now open for Rs 11,000.

Note: All these prices are introductory and will be valid till November 10, 2023.

The AMT transmission option is limited to the Magnite’s 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 72PS of max power and 96Nm of peak torque. Regarding fuel efficiency, it is claimed to offer 19.70 kmpl, which is 0.35 kmpl more than its manual counterpart.

Nissan also offers the Magnite with a 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine (100PS/up to 160Nm) that can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission.

New Paint Option

Nissan has also taken this opportunity to introduce a new dual-tone paint option: blue with black roof, which will be exclusive to the range-topping variants of the Magnite.

In the compact SUV segment, the Nissan Magnite locks horns with the AMT versions of Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and Maruti Fronx.
