  • As seen in the table above, the Tata Nexon is available with both petrol and diesel powertrains, whereas both Marutis are petrol-only offerings.
  • Tata offers the Nexon petrol with four transmission options, comprising a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT and a 7-speed DCT. Both the petrol-manual variants claim identical fuel efficiencies, which are slightly higher than the Brezza manual. However, the Fronx surpasses both the offerings.
  • The Maruti Fronx, with its 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, is the most fuel-efficient offering here, followed by its 1-litre turbocharged version.
  • When it comes to petrol-automatic versions, the Fronx again leads the chart. Interestingly, the Brezza Automatic also offers better mileage than both AMT and DCT versions of Nexon petrol.
  • Speaking of the Nexon diesel, it claims 23.23 kmpl with manual and 24.08 kmpl with AMT transmission.
