2023 Honda Dio 125 and Hornet 2.0 Repsol Editions Launched

Gearing for the first Grand Prix of India called BharatGP and bringing Honda’s racing essence to the streets, Honda 2-wheelers has launched the special Repsol Edition variants of the Horner 2.0 and Dio 125 in India.

Both of these special edition models will be offered in limited numbers via Honda’s standard Red Wing dealerships across the country.

What’s Special?

  • In order to entice the younger audience, both these special editions get Repsol Honda racing-inspired graphics and dual-tone Ross White and Vibrant Orange colour scheme.
  • The Honda Dio 125 Repsol Edition also features a blacked-out dual-tip muffler and orange alloy wheels. On the other hand, the Hornet 2.0 sports Repsol racing stripes on the body panels and alloy wheels.

Apart from these cosmetic changes, both models remain unchanged. Having said that, both two-wheelers are powered by the same engine and underpins the same components as their regular models.

Powering the Honda Hornet 2.0 is a BS6 OBD2 compliant 184cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine producing 17.03PS at 8500rpm & 15.9Nm at 6000rpm. It features a 5-speed gearbox with assist & slipper clutch, dual petal disc brakes with single-channel ABS, an all-LED lighting system, a fully digital instrument cluster with adjustable brightness, split seats, front USD forks, rear monoshock and 17-inch alloy wheels. 

On the other hand, the Honda Dio 125 is powered by a 123.92cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that develops 8.16PS at 6250rpm and 10.4Nm at 5000rpm. Regarding features, it comes equipped with an intelligent fully digital instrument console along with Honda’s Smart Key, idle start/stop system, LED headlamp with LED position lamp, silent starter system, side-stand auto engine cut-off, external flue lid, front disc brake, telescopic suspension and a 3-step adjustable rear suspension.
