Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition Launched At Rs 5.6 Lakh

Ultraviolette Automotive has launched a limited edition variant of its electric motorcycle, the F77, called the Space Edition. It has been priced at Rs 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom) and is limited to just 10 units. Its online bookings will commence tomorrow, i.e., on August 22 at 6 PM.

  • The Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition is essentially the brand’s tribute to India’s space program, ISRO and the Chandrayaan 3, which is slated to land on the moon on August 23, 2023. 
  • The Space Edition is based on the F77 Limited variant and features an aerospace-grade white-coloured paint job, with special Space Edition emblems on the front fork covers, lower side panels and the charging port. 
  • It also sports ”F77” lettering in red colour on the USD fork cover and red rim tape for added sportiness.
  • The key of this special edition model is crafted from Aluminum 7075, a high-grade aerospace aluminium alloy.

Battery, Power and Range

Powering the F77 Space Edition is a 10.3kWh battery pack, linked with a 30.2kW motor delivering 100Nm of whopping torque with a claimed top speed of 152kmph and an IDC range of 307 km on a single charge.

It can do the 0 to 60 kmph sprint in just 2.9 seconds.

Underpinning and Features

Speaking of the underpinnings, the Ultraviolette F77 is based on a steel trellis frame with aluminium bulk head, suspended on a 41mm preload adjustable upside-down (USD) fork upfront and preload-adjustable monoshock suspension setup at the rear. Anchoring duties are taken care of by a 320mm front and 230mm rear disc brake, assisted by dual-channel ABS.

Regarding features, the bike gets an automatic LED headlamp, lockdown sensors, crash guard, and a 9-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) along with a built-in accelerometer, gyroscope & magnetometer. The Limited Edition trim also gets a lever guard and a 5-inch TFT dash with smartphone connectivity and LTE connectivity with integrated eSIM, enabling features such as turn-by-turn navigation, ride analytics, real-time location, crash detection and battery statistics, etc.
