Hero Passion Plus Finally Made A Comeback, Priced At Rs 76,301

Hero MotoCorp’s iconic Passion Plus scooter has finally made a comeback in the Indian market. The MY23 model costs Rs 76,301 (ex-showroom Delhi) and sits between the Hero Splendor Plus and Splendor Plus XTEC.

2023 Hero Passion Plus – What’s New?

  • For starters, the new Hero Passion Plus is now OBD2-compliant. It is powered by the 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled sloper engine as the Splendor Plus, which makes 8PS and 8.05Nm. It also benefits from Hero’s i3s idle start/stop technology for optimum fuel efficiency.
  • The MY23 model also gets a touch of modernity in the form of refreshed colour scheme and new features. Having said that, the bike gets a semi-digital instrument console, a USB charging port, a side-stand indicator and a lockable utility box.
  • Colorways for the 2023 Passion Plus comprise – Sports Red, Black Nexus Blue, and Black Heavy Grey.

Underpinnings

  • Speaking of the underpinnings, this 110cc commuter is based on the diamond frame, suspended on the conventional telescopic fork upfront and dual shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, it gets, 130mm drum brakes at both ends.

Rivals

In the Indian market, the new Passion Plus faces competition from the Honda Shine 100 and Bajaj Platina 100.
