Nissan Magnite To Get New GEZA Special Edition; Bookings Open

Nissan India has revealed plans to launch a special edition of its Magnite SUV in India, known as the GEZA edition, aiming to enhance its market presence and appeal. Bookings open for this forthcoming special edition are now open for Rs 11,000, while its launch will take place on May 26, 2023.

  • As per the carmaker, the Magnite GEZA special edition will come equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity along with JBL speakers.
  • It will also get a rearview camera, ambient lighting with app-based controls, a shark fin antenna, and beige upholstery to enhance the overall experience.
  • Although not yet confirmed, we anticipate that the GEZA edition will likely showcase cosmetic enhancements on the exterior and a distinctive โ€˜GEZAโ€™ badge, indicating its status as a special edition.

Whatโ€™s Yet To Be Known?

  • As many details about the special edition model are still unknown, one crucial aspect that awaits confirmation is whether Nissan plans to offer both the 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol and turbocharged petrol engine options for this special edition variant. However, based on the booking window, it is likely to be offered only with the manual gearbox.

For now, the Nissan Magnite is priced in the range of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10.86 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It takes on the likes of the Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, and Kia Sonet.
