Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Gets A New Sportz Executive Variant

  • The new Sportz Executive trim is Rs 3,500 more economical than the Sportz variant.
  • It misses out on an auto climate control system.

Hyundai has launched a new mid-spec Sportz Executive variant for the Grand i10 Nios. Offered with the 1.2-litre petrol engine, it is available with both manual and AMT transmission options. It slots in between the Magna and Sportz variants of the hatch. Let’s check out how it is priced compared to the latter: –

As revealed from the above table, the new Sportz Executive variant is Rs 3,500 more affordable than the Sportz trim. For this price difference, the Sportz Executive variant misses out on the automatic climate control function. Instead, it gets a manual air conditioning system.

The rest of the feature list is more or less the same as the Sportz variant, comprising projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, roof rails, footwell lighting, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, steering-mounted audio controls, rear AC vents, keyless entry, power-adjustable & foldable side mirrors, and much more. Its safety kit includes dual front & side airbags (total 4 airbags), ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, speed sensing auto door lock, impact sensing auto door unlock, rear parking sensors, rear defogger, etc.

2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift interior

Powering the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Sportz Executive variant is the same 1.2-litre, 4-cyl, petrol engine as the other variant that makes 83PS of maximum power and 113.8Nm of peak torque. It comes paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT.

In the Indian market, the Grand i10 Nios locks horns with the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Tata Punch.
