Hero Super Splendor Xtec Edition Launched At Rs 83,368

Hero MotoCorp has given its yet another bike the Xtec treatment. This time the 125cc Super Splendor has received Bluetooth-based connectivity features, along with a few other equipments.

Hero Super Splendor Xtec โ€“ Whatโ€™s New?

Compared to the standard model, the Super Splendor XTEC edition is Rs 4,250 more expensive than the standard model. For this added premium, it benefits from a fully digital instrument cluster that gets Bluetooth connectivity, providing you SMS/call alerts. It also displays info like real-time mileage, low fuel, side-stand engine cut-off, bank angle sensor, service reminder and malfunction alerts.

The bike also receives a new LED headlight with position lamps, along with the โ€˜Xtecโ€™ branding & graphics on the fuel tank.

Hero Super Splendor Xtec price and features

Hero has offered the Super Splendor XTEC in three colour schemes: Gloss Black, Matt Axis Grey and Candy Blazing Red.

Apart from the above-mentioned changes, the bike remains unchanged. It continues to get the same design as the standard model.

Powering the Super Splendor is a fuel-injected 125cc air-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine with i3S idle start/stop technology. It makes 10.87PS of maximum power and 10.6Nm of peak torque. The underpinnings of the bike comprise a telescopic fork and dual shocker suspension setup. Anchoring is accomplished via a 240mm disc/ 130mm front drum brake and 130mm rear drum brake.

In the Indian market, the Hero Super Splendor locks horns with the Honda Shine and Bajaj Pulsar 125.
