Tata Launches Its First Vehicle Scrapping Facility Called Re.Wi.Re

Tata Motors has opened its first vehicle scrapping facility in India in Jaipur, called Re.Wi.Re., short for “Recycle With Respect.” Inaugurated by Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, the scrapping centre can recycle up to 15,000 end-of-life (EOL) vehicles each year.

This state of art scrapping facility is developed and operated by Tata Motors’ partner Ganganagar Vaahan Udyog Pvt. Ltd. to scrap end-of-life passenger and commercial vehicles of all brands. It is fully digitalised for hassle-free, paperless operations and has dedicated stations for the safe dismantling of components such as tyres, batteries, fuel, oils, liquids and gases.
