Compared to its global-spec version which is a 3-door offering, the Indian-spec Jimny will come in a 5-door avatar with an extended wheelbase. It will be sold in Zeta and Alpha variants. Powering the off-roader will be the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine rated at 105PS and 134Nm. It will drive all four wheels of the car via its AllGrip Pro 4ร—4 drivetrain, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

When it comes to creature comforts, the SUV gets features like automatic LED headlamps with daytime running lamps, headlamp washer, alloy wheels, tailgate-mounted spare wheel touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, auto AC, keyless entry with push-button engine start/stop, cruise control, day/night IRVM, up to six airbags, electronic stability programme (ESP), hill hold assist, hill descent control, and much more.
