Mahindra XUV300 Sportz TGDI Interior Spied Ahead Of Launch

  • Mahindra is likely to unveil the XUV300 Sportz TGDI on October 7.
  • The engine will come with direct injection technology for a higher level of precision and greater power.
  • The new model will feature a handful of cosmetic enhancements for a sporty appearance.

The more powerful version of the Mahindra XUV300 (Sportz) has been caught in lenses once again, with the latest spy images exposing its interior for the first time. It is expected to be revealed tomorrow.

The leaked image shows that the new Mahindra XUV300 Sportz will feature the same dashboard layout as the existing model, albeit in an all-black scheme instead of the current dual-tone beige & black combination. It also features silver highlights on the steering wheel and around the AC vents for contrast appeal. However, its in-famous switches and controls on the center console and the dashboard integrated 7-inch touchscreen remain unchanged. Mahindra is also expected to equip the SUVs with more features.

On the outside, the SUV gets a new gloss black grille and newly designed alloy wheels. There are also the sporty-looking red color inserts on the grille and air dam. The SUV will also receive new paint schemes, including a mustard yellow with a blacked-out roof & ORVMs.

Mahindra is expected to introduce the new XUV300 Spotz with a revised 1.2-litre, direct-injection turbocharged (TGDI) petrol engine that makes 130PS of maximum power and 230Nm of peak torque. It is likely to be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

We assume the new TGDI engine will be restricted to the top-spec variants of Mahindra XUV300. Expect them to command a price premium of around Rs 50,000 over their existing MPFI petrol variants.
