Jawa 42 Bobber Launched At Rs 2,06,500

Jawa Motorcycles has launched the 42 Bobber in India at a starting price of Rs 2,06,500 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it Rs 2,687 more affordable than the Jawa Perak. However, it takes its design inspiration from its sibling mentioned earlier.

Jawa 42 Bobber – What’s New?

As mentioned above, the Forty-Two Bobber takes its design inspiration from the Jawa Perak. It features a new LED headlamp, along with an LCD rider’s display with a revived switchgear on the handlebar. There’s also the new brawny fuel tank with knee recesses & rubber pads, a single-piece saddle (which can be moved back by 25mm), repositioned footpegs, redesigned exhaust, and a long rear fender with the LED tailamp & indicators mounted on it. Theoretically, all these changes will result in improved ergonomics and a more lavish riding experience.

The new Bobber also borrows its underpinnings and braking system from the Perak, comprising a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup and discs at both ends with dual-channel ABS. However, the monoshock has been returned for the bike.

Powering the Jawa 42 Bobber is the same 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from the Perak that develops 30.64PS/32.74Nm and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

In the Indian market, the new Jawa Forty-Two Bobber will lock horns with the Honda H’ness CB350, Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Yezdi Roadster, and Keeway V302C.
