2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift Variant-Wise Features Revealed

Hyundai Venue will receive a facelift update tomorrow, but the features list for each variant has been revealed ahead of its official arrival. The Korean sub-4m SUV will be available in six trim levels: E, S, S+, S(O), SX, and SX(O) variants, with the following engine options-

2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift: Variant-Wise Features

1. Hyundai Venue E

Key Features: –

  • Exterior:- Halogen headlamps, new chrome studded grille, body-colored door handles & bumpers, 15-inch steel wheels with covers.
  • Interior: – Dual tone black-&-cream interior theme, fabric upholstery.
  • Comfort & Convenience: – Front adjustable headrests, day/night IRVM, tilt adjustment for the steering wheel, manual AC, front power windows, C-type front USB charger, 12V power socket.
  • Safety: – Front dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, speed-sensing door lock, high-speed alert system, seatbelt reminder, central locking, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

2. Hyundai Venue S

Key Features (over E variant): –

  • Exterior:- Roof rails, shark fin antenna, body-colored ORVMs.
  • Interior: – Digitised instrument cluster.
  • Comfort & Convenience: – Automatic headlamps, front center armrest with storage, rear AC vents, all-four power windows, power-adjustable ORVMs, two rear C-type USB charging ports, keyless entry, steering-mounted audio & telephony controls.
  • Infotainment/Entertainment: – 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, 6 speakers (including 2 tweeters), and voice recognition.
  • Safety: – Electronic Stability Control (ESC), brake assist, Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), hill hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, and rear defogger.

3. Hyundai Venue S+/S (O)

Key Features (over S variant): –

  • Exterior:- LED projector headlights with LED DRLs, cornering lamps, ORVM-mounted turn indicators, LED taillights, and 16-inch wheels with dual-tone covers (diesel and turbo-petrol only).
  • Interior: – Rear parcel tray, flat-bottom steering wheel (DCT only), leather-wrapping on steering wheel & gear knob (DCT only).
  • Comfort & Convenience: – Height-adjustable driver’s seat, drive modes (DCT only), paddle shifters (DCT only), cruise control (DCT only)
  • Safety: – Reverse parking camera with guidelines, and rear wiper & washer (turbo-petrol only).

4. Hyundai Venue SX

Key Features (over S+/S (O) variant): –

  • Exterior:- 16-inch diamond-cut alloys (diesel only), electric sunroof.
  • Interior: – 60:40 rear split seat, Hotkeys on IRVM (SOS, Bluelink), leather-wrapped steering wheel & gear knob, and flat-bottom steering wheel.

5. Hyundai Venue SX (O)

  • Interior: –  Leatherette seats, ambient lighting, and Hotkeys on IRVM.
  • Comfort & Convenience: –  Remote engine start, 4-way powered driver seat, in-cabin air purifier, cruise control.
  • Infotainment/Entertainment: – Blue link connected car technology with Alexa and Google voice assistant support.
  • Safety: –  Side and curtain airbags (total 6 airbags), rear wiper & washer.

Bookings for the 2022 Hyundai Venue are already underway for a token amount of Rs 21,000. Expect it to command a significant price premium over the pre-facelift model, which is priced from Rs 7.11 lakh to Rs 11.84 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). On its arrival, it will continue to lock horns with the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, and soon-to-be-updated Maruti Vitara Brezza and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
