Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 Launched In India

  • Marks Suzuki’s entry into the entry-level adventurer segment.
  • Priced at Rs 2.11 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
  • Platform and mechanicals same as seen in the Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250.
  • Comes in three colors: Champion Yellow No. 2, Pearl Blaze Orange, and Glass Sparkle Black.
  • Rivals the likes of KTM 250 Adventure and Benelli TRK 251.

After being teased for the past few days, Suzuki Motorcycle India has finally launched the V-Strom SX 250 at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2,11,000. The brand claims that it has been specially designed to perfectly suit city and highway riding as well as exploring various kinds of adventure terrains.   

The Suzuki V-Strom 250 shares its platform and mechanics with the existing Gixxer SF 250. It sports Suzuki’s design concept of “Toughness in a Slender Shell” with its upright stance, rugged design, compact engine, and well-rounded chassis, making it seem all that power is wrapped around a sleek shell.

Talking about the underpinnings, the ADV gets twin-fork telescopic suspension in the front, a mono-shock at the rear end, and disc brakes on both wheels with dual-channel ABS.

Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 features

The bike comes equipped with various feel-good features like Suzuki Easy Start Tech offering one-click engine start/stop and Suzuki Ride Connect allowing the riders to pair their smartphones with the onboard digital console and view their messages, calls and even have turn-by-turn navigation. Both these technologies allow a smooth and brisk riding experience. Besides, it also gets a USB charging socket, a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, and an all-LED lighting system for crisp visibility.

Powering the Suzuki V-Strom SX is a 250cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, oil-cooled engine developing 26.5PS of power and 22.2Nm of torque. Paired with this engine is a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 specs

Suzuki has offered the baby V-Strom in three colour options, namely Champion Yellow No. 2, Pearl Blaze Orange, and Glass Sparkle Black.
