Renault India To Open 300 Booking Centres In Rural Areas

Renault India has announced to open 300 bookings centres in rural areas across the country. This will be done through the brand’s collaboration with CSC Grameen e-Stores, a subsidiary of CSC e-Governance Services (Common Service Centres).

These centres will be manned by highly qualified Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) who will address all the financial and product-related queries of the customers and enable sales in rural areas. That said, they will act as a one-stop solution for Renault car booking, providing all information related to products, services, finance schemes and offers.

For those who aren’t aware, CSC e-Governance Services India, Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), has been set up by the ministry of electronics & IT under the Companies Act, 1956 to oversee the implementation of the CSC scheme. CSC SPV provides a centralised collaborative framework for the delivery of services to citizens through CSCs, besides ensuring systemic viability and sustainability of the scheme.

Renault partnered with CSC Grameen eStore last year to sweeten its reach in rural India and move closer to potential customers of distant areas. Renault’s all product range and services are also listed on the CSC Grameen eStore. Recently, Renault joined hands with CSC e-Governance Services to support Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyaan (PMGDISHA), which aims to provide digital literacy to six crore rural citizens. The brand also handed over five cars to CSC e-Governance Services.
