Powering the SUV is a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol (120PS/170Nm) and a 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel (110PS/260Nm) engine. Both motors come with 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT transmission options.
Features highlights of the SUV include an all-LED illumination system, dual-tone alloy wheels, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, auto climate control, semi-digital instrumentation cluster, cruise control, multiple driving modes, and much more.
In the Indian market, Tata Nexon goes up against the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Honda WR-V, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.
