2021 Force Gurkha Deliveries Now Underway

Force Motors has now commenced deliveries of the new-gen Gurkha across the country. The off-roader is available in a single variant priced at Rs 13.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Interested customers can make its booking for a token amount of Rs 25,000.

The Force Gurkha is powered by a 2.6-liter diesel engine (91PS/250Nm), paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It gets a 4-wheel-drive system (4WD) as standard with a low-range gearbox and front & rear mechanical locking differentials. It can tackle gradients of up to 35 degrees with 4WD engaged. Besides, the Gurkha also features front & rear anti-roll bars and an air-intake snorkel that offers a water wading capacity of 700mm. 

 

In terms of features, the 2021 Force Gurkha comes equipped with circular LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, cornering lamps, dark grey upholstery, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 4-speaker sound system, front power windows, two captain seats in the second row with individual armrests, manual air conditioning system, two USB sockets,  follow-me-home function, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, speed-sensing door lock, rear parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

The Force Gurkha rivals the second-generation Mahindra Thar, which currently retails from Rs 12.78 lakh to Rs 15.08 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Soon it will also face competition from Maruti Suzuki's Jimny, which is likely to be launched in early 2022.
