Tata Punch SUV – Variants and Customization Packs Explained

Tata Motors has recently unveiled its upcoming Punch micro-SUV. While its launch is scheduled for October 18, its official bookings have already been started for Rs 21,000. It will be available in four trims – Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative, along with a first for the segment factory-fitted customization options – Rhythm, Dazzle, and iRA, which let the customer get more features without shifting up an entire variant. So, here we've simplified all the variants of the upcoming Tata Punch SUV with their respective personalization packages. But before we dive into the details, first have a look at its specifications: –

Tata Punch – Variant-wise key features and customization packs

1. Tata Punch Pure –

  • Color Options: – White and Grey. 
  • Key Features: – Black cladding all around the car, LED indicators, halogen headlamps, 90-degree door opening, steel wheels, front power window, tilt adjustment function for the steering, manual AC, a flat floor in the 2nd row, dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors, central locking with key, brake sway control, idle-start stop function, and two driving modes (Eco & City). 
  • Factory Custom Option: – The base-spec Pure variant will be available with Rhythm Package that includes a floating infotainment system with a 4-inch screen along with four speakers and steering-mounted audio controls. 

2. Tata Punch Adventure –

  • Color Options: – White, Grey, Orange, and Mist. 
  • Key Features (Over Pure trim): – Follow-me-home function for the headlamps, wheel covers for the steel wheels, body-Coloured outside rear-view mirror, flip key, day/night inside mirror, all-four power windows, electrically-adjustable ORVMs, steering mounted controls, floating 4-inch infotainment system with 4-speakers, USB charging ports.

  • Factory Custom Option: – Rhythm Pack – This upgrades the infotainment system to a 7-inch touchscreen unit with 2 tweeters. It also combines Android Auto and Apple Carplay smartphone integration support and a rear camera. 

3. Tata Punch Accomplished –  

  • Color Options: – White, Grey, Orange, Mist, and Bronze.  
  • Key Features (Over Adventure trim): – Front fog lamps, LED tail lamps, 15-inch Hyper style wheels, passive keyless entry with push-button start function, 6-way height-adjustable driver's seat, cruise control, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman, Android Auto and Apple Carplay, 4-speaker + 2-tweeters, natural voice recognition technology, What3Word function for the navigation system, cruise control, one-touch roll down function for the driver's side window, reverse parking camera, and Traction Pro mode for AMT unit. 

  • Factory Custom Option: – Dazzle Pack – This combines a bit extra visible flair to the Punch Accomplished variant with bigger 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED daytime running lamps, projector headlamps, and black tape on A-pillar.

4. Tata Punch Creative-  

  • Color Options: – The top-spec creative variant of the Tata Punch is available in a total of 7 dual-tone color choices – Blue, Red, Bronze, Orange, Mist, Grey, and White. While the starting two hues come with a white-colored roof & ORVMs, the rest of all get black finishing for the same. 
  • Key Features (Over Adventure trim): – Automatic projector headlamps with LED DRLs, diamond-cut dual-tone alloy wheels of 16-inches, roof-rails, rain-sensing wipers, auto-folding outside mirrors, rear wiper & washer, rear defogger, puddle lamps, leather wrapping for the steering wheel & gear knob, cooled glove box, automatic climate control, 7-inch TFT display for the instrument cluster, and a central armrest for rear passengers.

 

  • Factory Custom Option: – iRA Pack – As the name suggests, this optional package makes the Tata Punch more tech-friendly by incorporating 27+ telematics connected car features across five different categories – Remote Control, Vehicle Security, Gamification, Live Vehicle Diagnosis & Alerts, and Location-based Services.
