Facelifted Audi Q5 To Launch In November 2021

Globally unveiled in June 2020, the Audi is now all set to bring the facelifted Q5 to the Indian market in November 2021. Similar to its previous model, it will also be assembled in our country and is estimated to price from around Rs 55 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). Once launched, the SUV will rekindle its competition with the BMW X3, Lexus NX, Mercedes-Benz GLC, and Volvo XC60.

Compared to its pre-facelift model (discontinued last year), the facelifted model looks sportier and has a lot to offer on the comfort & convenience front. Starting with the exterior, the new Audi Q5 features a larger octagonal single-frame grille with a honeycomb pattern, flanked by new LED headlamps which are no longer connected to the grille. There's also an aggressively styled front bumper with redesigned air intakes, newly designed alloy wheels, and reworked side sills that add a sportier look. At the back, a new trim element connects the OLED taillamps. Besides, a new horizontal diffuser has also been added to the rear bumper.

Inside, the facelifted Q5’s dashboard is largely similar to the outgoing model. While it misses out on the contemporary twin-display setup provided in its larger siblings, it gets Audi's latest 10.1-inch MMI infotainment system, an updated digital driver’s display, and connected car technology. The infotainment can also be operated through touch inputs and voice commands.
