While the former RE bike is now Rs 4,598 dearer, the latter will set you back by an additional Rs 6,428 over its former prices. With this, the Meteor 350 has become Rs 5,414 more expensive than the dual-channel ABS Halcyon series of the new Classic 350. The price hike for Meteor makes sense as it restores it as a premium offering over the Classic 350. While both bikes share the same engine and platform, their engine mapping and styling sets them apart from each other.

Coming to the 2021 Himalayan, the latest price hike seems unfair for the adventure motorcycle as its asking rates were hiked by up to Rs 4,616 two months back. With this, it has become costlier by about Rs 9,500 from its launch price and Rs 20,952 from its 2020 model. However, it still undercuts the KTM 250 Adventure by up Rs 34,000.

In the other news, the Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch the road-biased version of the Himalayan in the coming months that will come with subtle design changes to suit the character of the bike. Click here for more details.
