Hyundai Motors India is all set to launch the i20 N-Line on 2nd September 2021. But ahead of that, it has started reaching Hyundai's Signature outlets. So, now you have a chance to check out the hot-hatch personally before booking it for a token amount of Rs 25,000.
This first N-Line model for the Indian market will be offered in two variants: N6 and N8, powered by the same 120PS 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine as the regular model. While both these variants will get a 6-speed clutchless manual (iMT) as standard, the latter will also be available with an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT).
Although the N-Line's engine remains the same as the regular turbo variant, the brand has done an excellent job on the cosmetic front to differentiate it from the standard model. That said, the i20 N Line features a new chequered flag-grille with ''N'' moniker, sportier front bumper with new fog lamp housings & lip spoiler, redesigned alloy wheels, chrome twin exhaust muffler, a tailgate spoiler with side wings and red accents all around the car.
The red highlights continue inside the cabin as well, complementing the all-black theme. Besides, Hyundai has also offered it with a new 3-spoke steering wheel, chequered flag-themed seats with red stitching, N branded gear lever and red colour ambient lighting. As far as the features are concerned, it gets a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Blue Link connected car tech, digital driver display, cruise control, a single-pane sunroof, wireless smartphone charging, auto-dimming IRVM, metal pedals, up to 6-airbags, all-four-disc brakes and much more.

Not only this, but the brand has also improved the steering feedback and stiffened its suspension setup by 30 percent for better handling & stability. Adding to the overall fun quotient is its raspy exhaust note.
The Hyundai i20 N Line is expected to be priced from Rs 12 lakh onwards. Once launched, it will go up against the Volkswagen Polo GTI.
