Tropical Mist Color Will Now Be Available With All Variants Of Tata Safari

Tata has introduced the Tropical Mist color for all the variants of Safari. Earlier, this body shade was restricted to the Adventure Persona Edition of the three-row SUV. With this, it will now be available in a total of four color options. including the Orcus White, Royal Blue and Daytona Grey.

Besides the Tropical Mist color, no other unique styling elements of the Adventure Edition have been offered with the regular variants. To know the difference between Safari's Adventure and regular variants, click here

Heart of the Tata Safari is a Fiat-sourced 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that makes 170PS and 350Nm. It can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

In terms of features, Tata Safari comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, Xenon HID automatic projector headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, iRA connected car technology with various remote control functions, a 9-speakers JBL premium sound system, boss mode to slide front passenger's seat forward from 2nd row, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, 6-way powered driver seat, leatherette upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, auto-dimming IRVM and much more. 

Passenger safety is taken care of by up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, cornering stability control, hill hold control, hill descent control, traction control, electronic parking brakes with auto hold, rollover mitigation, brake disc wiping, rear parking sensors along with a reversing camera.

The Safari is available in both 6- and 7-seater configurations. The former gets the choice of captain seats in the top-spec variant only.

Currently, the Tata Safari is priced between Rs 14.99 lakh and Rs 22.02 lakh (ex-showroom) and rivals the Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV500, MG Hector Plus, and the upcoming Mahindra XUV700.
