BMW Individual 740Li M Sport Limited Edition Launched At Rs 1.43 Crore

BMW has launched a new limited-edition variant of its flagship 7 Series sedan in India. Based on the 740Li M Sport trim, the Individual Edition is priced at Rs 1.42 crore (ex-showroom), commanding a premium of Rs 2.4 lakh over the standard model. 

The BMW Individual 740Li M Sport trim Edition comes with a few personalization options. For instance, buyers can choose the option of customizable embroidery on the Alcantara headrest and backrest cushions. One can also opt for high-quality Nappa leather for the mocha and black upholstery. It also gets new fine-wood trim and the Alcantara headliner (in Ivory White or Canberra Beige) on the dashboard along with the BMW Individual emblem.

BMW has offered the 7-Series Individual Edition in two paint schemes: Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey. It also gets the option to choose from 20-inch dual-tone light alloy wheels V-spoke in style 628 and 20-inch M light-alloy wheels Star-spoke in style 817 M. 

In terms of creature comforts, the BMW Individual 740Li M Sport trim Edition is loaded up to the brim. It offers adaptive 2-axle air suspensions, a panoramic sunroof (sky lounge), four-zone climate control, electrically adjustable comfort seats with massage & ventilation function, memory function for front seats, two 10.2-inch full-HD displays for the rear passengers with a Blu-Ray drive, a 16-speaker Harmon Kardon Surround Sound system, 12.3-inch digital driver’s display with 3D maps and variably configurable widgets, 10.25-inch central infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, gesture control, and Intelligent Personal Assistant. 

There is also a pop-out 7-inch tablet that acts as a remote for various infotainment functions. 

The other notable features include BMW Laserlight with Auto High Beam Assistance, keyless opening & locking of the vehicle, powered tailgate, heating & memory function for ORVMs with automatic anti-dazzle function on the driver side, rain sensor, automatic driving lights, soft-close function for side doors, ambient lighting and much more. 

As for safety, it comes equipped with six airbags, ABS, Brake Assist, ESP, ISOFIX mounting points, Electric Parking Brake with auto-hold function, dynamic traction control, side-impact protection, ESP, flat run tyres with reinforced sidewalls, and cornering braking control. Moreover, it also gets a host of driving assistant features like lane departure warning, rear collision alerts, and cross-traffic warning, parking assistant-plus with a 360-degree camera.

The Individual 740Li M Sport Edition is powered by the 3-litre 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. The mill generates 340PS of power and 450Nm of twisting force. BMW claims that this luxury limo can do the 0 to 100kmph sprint in just 5.6 seconds and delivers a fuel economy of 11.86 kmpl.

The BMW 7 Series competes with the Audi A8 and Mercedes-Benz S-Class in the Indian market.
