Nissan Magnite, Kicks And Datsun Redi-GO Now Available On subscription basis

Nissan's most popular offering, Magnite along with Kicks and Datsun Redi-GO are now being offered on a subscription basis. The carmaker has partnered up with ORIX to offer these cars at a monthly rent starting from as low as Rs 8,999. This will allow buyers to take a new car home without actually purchasing it.

Nissan Intelligent Ownership Subscription Plan

Dubbed as ‘Nissan Intelligent Ownership Subscription Plan’, it promises zero down payment and covers vehicle insurance, registration charges, cost of paperwork, and all maintenance costs (both scheduled and unscheduled repairs), tire & battery replacement charges, and 24×7 roadside assistance in the subscription fee. Customers will be required to pay only the refundable security deposit along with a fixed monthly fee. However, it is important to note that the subscription cost of a car will differ based on the model, tenure, and location.

Let’s take a look at the model-wise monthly subscription rates in the image given below: –

Nissan Subscription Plan

  • As the above table indicates, only the range-topping variants of all three cars are available on a subscription basis. However, the brand has not specified the tenure details.
  • The subscription plans range from Rs 18,000 to Rs 25,300 for Magnite and Rs 24,000 to Rs 30,500 for Kicks, depending on the variant.
  • For the entry-level redi-GO hatchback, the monthly subscription amount will range from Rs 8,999 to Rs 10,999.
  • The subscribed model will come with a white number plate (registered for private).
  • Nissan will also offer a buyback option with the subscribed model. This means that users will also get an option to buy the unit they are using.
  • Currently, this service is available only in Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The brand will soon expand its services to Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai as well.

A new end-to-end online platform will be launched soon –

Nissan will also launch a dedicated digital platform for a contactless car buying experience called 'Shop@Home'. Besides offering a virtual showroom and virtual test drive options, the platform will also provide options to personalize a car, evaluate the exchange value of an existing car, calculate & compare EMIs, and apply for finance before booking.
