BMW 6 Series GT Facelift Launched In India, Price Start From Rs 67.90 Lakh

German auto giant BMW has launched the facelifted version of 6 Series GT in the Indian market. The brand has offered the updated luxury sedan in three variants – 630i GT M Sport, 620d GT Luxury Line, and 630d GT M Sport. Let's take a look at the complete variant-wise price list: –

Compared to the pre-facelift model, BMW has discontinued the older base-spec petrol-powered 630i Luxury Line variant (Rs 65.90 lakh) and introduced a new 630i GT M Sport trim. With this, the stating price of updated BMW sedan has gone up by Rs 2 lakh. Besides this, the mid-spec 620D GT Luxury Line and top-spec 630D GT M Sport have also gotten dearer by Rs 2.40 lakh and Rs 90,000 respectively. 

BMW has also announced benefits worth up to Rs 1.50 lakh for buyers who will book the sedan in April 2021. 

2021 BMW 6 Series GT – What's New?

The updated BMW 6 Series GT looks largely similar to the pre-facelift model except for some minor cosmetic updates. Upfront, it features a new wider & taller kidney grille with vertical chrome slats, revised front bumper (different designs depending on the variant) and sleeker adaptive LED headlamps that comes with cornering and anti-dazzling function. The side and rear profiles also remain largely unchanged except for a new set of alloy wheels (ranging between 18- and 19-inches) and a new 3D LED tail lamp in BMW's signature L-shaped pattern. Further, the M Sport trim continues to get an M aerodynamics package with elements like sportier detailing on the bumper, M-Sport alloy wheels, and side skirts.

Similar to the exterior, the interior layout of the car remains unaltered save for the new upholstery, updated digital driver’s display, and a larger 12.3-inch i-Drive infotainment system (replacing the older 10.25-inch unit) which now also supports Android Auto smartphone connectivity. Other features on offer include dual-pane panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, two 10.25-inch touch-based entertainment display at the rear, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ambient lighting, wireless charging, electrically adjustable sun blinds for rear occupants, five driving modes (Sport, Comfort, Comfort+, Eco Pro, and Adaptive), air suspensions system, multiple airbags, cornering brake control, ABS with brake assist, vehicle stability control, front & rear parking sensors, parking assistance system, and many more.
