Get Ready To Shell More For Maruti Suzuki Cars

India's leading passenger car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has announced a price hike across its entire product portfolio w.e.f 1st April 2021. The price hike will vary depending on the models and variants. The carmaker has cited increased input costs as the reasons behind the price change move. 

Currently, Maruti Suzuki has 14 models in its lineup, of which nine are sold through Arena dealerships and the rest through premium Nexa dealerships. Among all, the Alto 800 entry-level hatchback is the most affordable Maruti car in India, whereas the premium XL6 MPV bears the heftiest ex-showroom price tag. They can even get some attractive monthly discounts on their purchase as the brand is offering discounts and benefits of up to Rs 67,000 across their range. In the other news, Maruti Suzuki is also gearing up to launch next-generation Celerio and Alto hatchbacks in the country. The brand could also re-introduce the diesel engines, albeit in a BS6-compliant state.
