Kia SUVs Just Get Pricier

Like every other manufacturer, Kia Motors has also increased the asking prices of its selected models in January 2021. Currently, Kia has three models on offer in India: Sonet (sub-4m SUV), Seltos (compact SUV) and Carnival (premium MPV). However, the price increment is only applicable to the Kia SUVs.

Kia has only hiked the prices of Sonet's 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel variants by up to Rs 20,000. The brand hasn't increased the pricing of 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol trims.

  • The price hike for the Kia Seltos ranges between Rs 10-11k. However, the prices of base-spec HTE (petrol), GTX+ DCT and HTK (diesel) are unchanged. 
  • It is important to note that the price hike does not attract any mechanical or cosmetic changes. 

  • Kia Carnival's prices haven't been updated. It is still priced between Rs 24.95 lakh and Rs 33.95 lakh (ex-showroom), and sold in three variants: Premium, Prestige and Limousine, which are available in 7-, 8-, and 9-seating configurations.
